Be Organized
When we stay organized we offer ourselves a chance at great success. Being organized is one of the best skills that a person can offer any employer.
Include having a to-do list on a daily basis that is written out at least the night before if not a few days before. This is the best way to plan ahead.
Create a routine for yourself every day.
Plan and prepare all your tasks and work in advance so you are ready to begin.
Be Focused
By being focused we are giving access to thinking which will allow better learning, memory and problem solving.
Remove distractions such as WhatsApp, social media and in general your cell phone. This allows better focus on the tasks ahead. Allow time for quiet reflection and ensure you sleep well every night.
Have Exceptional Customer Service
When a customer contacts your customer service and the agent is kind and polite it makes all the difference on your business name and brand. You represent your business and a reputation that builds trust.
Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Be friendly, courteous and polite at all times. Listen to the customer’s needs and respond with empathy and understanding. In turn, these customer will come back.
Prepare To Take Risks
Taking risks is an essential part of business. When we weigh up the options and have solid thoughts we can make better choices. Risks offer changes and changes are good for us. Sometimes we have to take a leap of faith.
Weigh up options. Make a list of pros and cons. Think about all the possible outcomes that there may be.
Promote Positive Clear Messages
Marketing is not easy, however with a positive clear message you will understand your brand better and be able to tell your story easier. Be honest and truthful or as they like to say in business AUTHENTIC.
Know your mission and ensure you are clear about it. Practice thankfulness and gratitude on a daily basis. Focus on the good things.
Encourage Communication
Communication is a key element to success. When you are able to communicate with others, you will reap the benefits. Communication starts with listening before we begin to talk.
Listen to feedback and assess it. Ask questions in order to build yourself up and grow.
Recognize other people’s views and take in all the information you can gather. Listen to everyone and decide what makes sense. Keep your door open. If you have employees make sure they feel comfortable to approach you on a daily basis. Learn to network to build communication channels.
Be Creative
Everyone has a creative side to them, it just has to be found. Solve problems in a unique way. Be different from the average Joe. Look at things around you and look outside of the box. You will be surprised by the things that you discover.
Change things around and don’t always do the same things. Life is not black and white. Search for the colors and then implement them into your daily tasks and activities.
Use your imagination to take you further on the journey. Find inspiration everywhere you go. Make sure to always write down your ideas and creative thoughts so you can use them later!
Keep It Fun And Enjoyable
If you are running an office remember you have human beings sitting at desks. Humans need fun and enjoyment in their lives to feel good and relax. It is important to laugh on a daily basis. When working in a fun and enjoyable environment, there is less stress and more productivity.
Celebrate small wins. While you are on the journey, enjoy it and spend time reflecting on the good times. Listen to music to feel the enjoyment. Get up from your desk and do a little dance every now and then. It will make the atmosphere around you feel more exciting.
Understand basic, good, positive qualities
I talk a lot about positivity. I believe that if everyone remains positive in their life and in their work they will have an easier chance of success with a brighter outlook.
