7 ways to kick start your week on a positive note

If you look at everything in a negative light, you are only going to understand and feel the bad side of things. Therefore, living positively is a proven way to lift yourself up.

There are many ways one can live a life full of positivity. In today’s world especially, we have to learn how to hold on to our positive thoughts because without them we are unlikely to succeed.

1. Start Your Day In a Positive Way

When you start your day on a positive note, the entire day is likely to go smoothly and your mood will offer you extra boosts of positive thinking. It’s all about your positive mindset.

As you wake up, you need to remind yourself to be thankful.

“I woke up, I’m alive another day”

It’s important to remind ourselves of what we have and be grateful for it. We often forget, with our busy lives to stop and say thank you. Thank You. Two simple, yet powerful words!

2. Wake Up With Plenty Of Time

When you wake up with plenty of time, to take care of yourself, to meditate, to pray, to wash your face and brush your teeth without rushing, you get a better feeling than when you hurry out of bed to do all the necessary things before starting your day. Wake up with plenty time, allowing you to self-care. To spend sometime with you, before you go about a busy day.

3. Drink Plenty Water

It’s been recommended and there are plenty proven facts out there that drinking at least 2-4 liters of water per day is good for our health.

Drinking plenty water, looks after your body and brain and can help you with calmer and more positive thinking.

Drinking water also gives us more energy. Energy built up around us for a great day!

4. Exercise

Exercise is one of the best ways for taking away negative thoughts. When you exercise, your body releases endorphins which lead to feelings of positivity.

You truly feel happy when you take the time for yourself to look after your body and exercise. The adrenaline that you feel as you exercise keeps that happy feeling going.

Exercise is the way to go. Walking, yoga, swimming, gym, work-outs, they all work!

5. Read Something Motivating

I make a point as I start my day, to read something motivating. It might only be a friends post on social media, yet starting the day reading something that motivates me, really helps. A few minutes of reading first thing can make all the difference to your positive start.

6. Eat A Decent Breakfast

Studies have show that eating a good breakfast, offers us better concentration throughout the day. It’s said “breakfast is the most important meal of the day.”聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Go figure.

Starting the day with breakfast will help us gain energy, remain healthy, concentrated and even might help our memory.聽

7.聽 Review Your Goals

As business people, or even as every day life will have it, we all need goals to survive.

Having goals and working towards achieving them helps us understand what we want in life. With a good understanding of our goals and how we will work towards achieving them, positivity plays a good part.

There is an opportunity to point your life in the right direction with purpose.Taking time to think about the past week, looking at what went well and what wasn’t so great.聽

Taking time to plan for the week ahead, giving yourself a chance to get organized with your goals, ensuring that the work you do daily is helping you reach these goals.
