5 reasons why opportunities rock

Opportunities are everywhere. We can’t deny it. As we wake up, the opportunities start to pour in.

We might have a message from a potential client. We might find an opportunity while drinking coffee. Who knows?

Fact is opportunities often bring about positive outcomes.

With every opportunity comes the possibility of learning new skills and new experiences.

We grow. We develop. We move forward.

1

Opportunities put us in control and allow for freedom.

We start to choose for ourselves which opportunities make sense to us and which ones don’t.

Life has an interesting way of taking us on our journey and leading us through to a path  of success.

A lot of it comes from opportunities that greet us on the way.

2

Opportunities help us grow and develop.

With opportunities we have gains and rewards that knock at our door. We are given better access to further our skills. We become more fulfilled.

 3

Opportunities allow for communication, listening and research.

I’m a big fan of communication. When we listen to others and hold back our comments until they are done we are allowing opportunity right there.

Sometimes, these opportunities turn into big deals. I’ve had great discussions with people and boom, we became firm friends and I started mentoring them in business.  All because I listened!

4

Opportunities come in all shapes and sizes. No one fit all.

Sometimes we see the smallest opportunity in front of us. We don’t see it’s worth because it is small. If we take it because we know we should and we suddenly realize how big it can actually be.

I was offered a commission based job without a salary.

A the time, the job was right for me. I knew I didn’t need the salary base because I could crush the sales side of the commission. I’ve got this, doubling my lack of salary intake working on commissions. Opportunity at it’s finest!

5

Opportunities are painless.

We are offered things all the time. We’re not forced to take them. We make our own choices. Often we accept an opportunity to do something and it fails.

I accepted a job offer once and about a week or so later in dawned on me that it was not  the right ft all around. It was an opportunity, totally painless that I tried. It didn’t work out and that’s okay. That’s life!
