It’s a known fact that sunlight reduces stress and anxiety. When exposed to sunlight it sets off the release of hormones in the brain. Sunlight triggers off serotonin, stabilizing our mood and offering us a chance to be happier.
In turn it can also improve our calm feelings and help us to focus better.
For me, whenever a day isn’t going right, when I’m feeling down and if things just aren’t going to plan, stepping outside into the sunlight is a major game changer.
I always find that a day spent outdoors helps me to sleep much better.
